    Spitting output housing from Transferbox

I am sure I have changed that bearing without dismantling the transfer box.

    Transmission temperature warning light

If you notice in your photo and mine the relevant symbols being used are all highlighted in white, the "spare" ones are highlighted in black. Maybe that's the answer, if so you will then have to find out why/how it's illuminated.

    Transmission temperature warning light

I have a feeling it might be a spare warning light getting illuminated somehow. The dash warning light cluster was also used in other vehicles.

Do this, it should be easy to see if it has a cooler

Engine oil cooler. I would have thought a gearbox oil cooler would be a separate cooler. A small radiator or some additional pipe with fins on them.

Guilt by association and section 59 tickets

If we look at it from the rangers and police view then what they would have seen was some stuck idiot and some others getting him out. What else are they going to think? I am sure they have seen and heard it all before. Only seen one truck where it shouldn't be but plenty of evidence to suggest...

Front windows fogging up, FL2 TD4

Google tells me the high level brake light let's water in. Infact there are many topics and videos about water ingress on a FL2

Guilt by association and section 59 tickets

On the upside atleast they have a warning and not impounded on the spot. While it's annoying for the rest of the group it's a good warning for people. Police should have seized the idiots vehicle and warned the rest of them. Regardless it's a lesson learned for those involved and others will...

Guilt by association and section 59 tickets

Used for idiots at car meets at the local DIY stores car parks. Also for tossers who drive off the byways routes knowing full well they shouldn't. You can also get done for watching/encouraging such actions. Unfortunately many people at car meets, especially Jap cars I have found, are idiots...

Front windows fogging up, FL2 TD4

Sounds like you have water leak into the car somewhere causing condensation. Use the air con this time of year to keep windows clear, not just in the summer.

    200tdi stalling issue

Ok, just done that. The boost pin and diaphragm moves up and down and turns easily. The dot on the diaphragm pointed to the front, number 13 is stamped on the bottom of the pin. Under the diaphragm has quite a bit of fluid in it, looks like diesel but hard to tell. I thought it should be dry? I...

    200tdi stalling issue

Should mention that with the stop solenoid disconnected the lift pump gives a good squirt of fuel before the filter (with engine cranking over). With the pipe removed on inj pump inlet I would hazard a guess the squirt of fuel is slightly less pressure, is this because of having to go through...

    200tdi stalling issue

Do you mean the boost pin under the top cover? It was running just fine beforehand. My son booked it in to get the clutch done and decided to get the belt done at the same time.

If only, then I would be happy. I could remove the cable completely and operate the lever and it would still happen.

Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80 Bleed Through

Sorry, I didn't mean remove all the rust but the worst of. I had read good reviews about it but didn't really work for me.

Bilt Hamber Hydrate 80 Bleed Through

I have used Bilt Hamber with no problems, even works well with no top coat. I do remove as much rust as possible and clean well before hand. I found Fertan to be useless on the Land Rover chassis, might aswell not have bothered.
