Thanks, just thought it weird to have a button that does nothing!

So what is this button for? As for as I can tell it does nothing.

My knocking at the rear is caused by buggered axles!

Had a momentous occasion the other day!

The hub nuts were indeed not properly tightened! They weren't even notched in to stop them moving! I've loosened everything and re-tightened and the axles are still knocking the same! 😔 Looks like new axles then!

I was thinking that aswell, it only passed MOT in July! I'll check the hub nut tomorrow.

Hi all been hearing a knocking coming from the rear, had the car up on the ramps today and it's seems to be both drive shafts Here's a video of the passenger side but drivers side is the same So is it an easy fix, seals or something?

All my kids have iPhones, I can never understand why, then there surprised by the things I can do with my Samsung (or other android phones I've had)

Is this from Rave? This looks like the front pipe from the chamber goes to the actuator and the back pipe goes to the (can't remember what's it's called) the metal pipe above the chamber?

I've just changed my vacuum tubes. I was wondering this myself so when i had it off i checked, the vacuum chamber is hollow but when I tried blowing through it the "wrong" way it seemed blocked but the other way was fine so there must be some sort valve or something in it.

Mine was exactly the same, turned out it was the switch itself. Found one on ebay and both work perfectly now!

Changed the vacuum leads today, some of them were fraying so thought it time! Also capped of the egr! The amount if crap in that thing (forgot to take pictures of that)! Seems there is some oil coming in from the turbo, so I'll have to sort that out soon.

It's the exact same on mine, must've been an option on some on them! If you can get a look under the vehicle you can see that's the way they were designed! The only problem I have on mine is the driver side bracket is nearly rusted though towards the end but I've taken them apart and the rest...

Thanks Alteredtech, was thinking about sourcing a second hand part and cutting and resoldering to mine, but will have to wait until I have the time.
