Hi
Does anyone know what is inside of the FL1 TD4 Vaccum chamber, is it just a single large space?
I ask becuase a few people have suggetsed the pipes can be on the wrong way around (front/back), if it is just a single space then it won't make any difference.
From what I can see the front pipe connects to the vacuum system and the rear goes to the turbo actuator.

I've just changed my vacuum tubes. I was wondering this myself so when i had it off i checked, the vacuum chamber is hollow but when I tried blowing through it the "wrong" way it seemed blocked but the other way was fine so there must be some sort valve or something in it.

this is from Landrover hope this helps I am telling you because I had a problem when I let someone renew my vacuum pipes on my freelander td4 auto as I was going on holiday next day to Ireland he did not do it right he put the pipe of the main line onto the front of the vacuum chamber and then the pipe of the back of the chamber on the actuator of the turbo .it spoilt our holiday and i had to be piggybacked home on a recovery it took us over 18 hours to get home then cost me £700 because it had messed the auto box up give very slow starting off especially out of junctions so put the pipe in wrong at your own peril

Is this from Rave? This looks like the front pipe from the chamber goes to the actuator and the back pipe goes to the (can't remember what's it's called) the metal pipe above the chamber?
