bearings in front diff had too much play

problem sorted changed fuel pump thanks guys

think i sorted the problem i just pulled 11 fuse think i might have put it in earlier today when i was checking fuses under seat and noticed one missing

hi a got a p38 just changed transfer box and front diff no problems run it a few times all ok just been to my mates and when i pulled it display gave a transfer neutral msg now if i start it and move selector into gear i can't get any and i try putting it back into park with engine running i get...

no load then no problem ticks over lovely ok when u put foot to floor

clutch ok will check spark it ticks over sound just when u try to drive just jumps and judders take off slowly not to bad but as soon as u try to accelorate it don't want to know

hi my mate just picked up a 87plate 3.5efi manual classic yesterday very cheap problem is when u go to accelorate it judders and jumps like hell it ticks over lovely tho, bloke he got it off has had ecu checked new patometer any one any ideas thanks

not driving it's parked up hopefully it on head gasket as i not done many miles single figures it's gone into the red a couple of times but always dropped back out of the red so fingures crossed it only HG thanks for all ur replys

why looking for a engine i plan on stripping it and put new gasket on

i think head gasket gone my missus as just told me filler cap a little creamy

i have had a lot of steam comin from back box yes i put it down to condensation due to cold weather

will check plugs tomorrow as it dark when i get in whats the verdict if plugs washed clean ? head gasket

no visible signs in oil of head gasket going..my missus has told me she been out this morning and put 4ltr of water in to it

hi 4.6hse since the snow came my rangy is using a lot of water and a few times the temp gauge as gone into the red usually comes back down a little to take red light off.if i top it up in a morning with about 1 ltr it will run ok all day i can't find any leaks any ideas as i can't take it off...

hi i have a 95 4.6hse when going round corners i get a horrid grinding noise but it doesn't do it if i have a little speed.i thought it was front bearings but it ain't any ideas

hi need help p38 4.6hse 1995 when i turn left/right at slow speed i get a horrible grinding noise but it's not there if going at speed someone said it was bearings which i replaced but the noise is still there and now i also get traction failure and abs fault as soon as i pull away any ideas please

just wondered as i looked on halfords site for diff oil and it listed it as power steering transmission and diff and i have loads of trans fluid
