    Cheers for the input brand new battery, started a new thread for this today under Engine Immobilised, J the range is helping but no way forward so far.

    Hi J, the AA Mandid not mention which codes just that they were immobiliser. It feels like I paid over £100 for the resync and its not doing its job. The wifes going on again just had this a year an still throwing up the same proble.

    Good news all, finally got the number 3 cylinder HT leads changed and hey presto all seems to be back to normal. Bought some fuel pipe 6mm bore and will use this for the Cruise control cracked pipes, the two short ones. Jobs a good un all for around £56. Thank you all for input.

    I have the champion spark plugs in there with a 0.031inch gap, I can unplug the sensor but can't unscrew it due to the star drive screw heads.

    Hi WSLR, If the lead was earthing out and not getting to the plug surely I would see a damp plug from un-burnt petrol?

    Just tried to clean the MAF sensor before going for a run . On first inspection it appears to be a star drive screw head however its been modified by Bosch and has a pin to stop you putting a standard star drive in!

    I changed the plugs last night and on inspection all were seemed to be working with no damp areas through not firing. The wife has said it still appears to be lumpy when warm so will look at the MAF sensor tonight as J the Range suggests.

    Hi WSLR, just replaced the HT leads was unable to change no3 on both sides the garage is hopefully going to do that today 22nd. I will put new plugs in tonight and see how she performs. I am running on petrol only I don't want to change her to LPG i'm a bit of a purist and skint.

    Once again J the range thank you, I also enquired at Bearmach for some Vacuum hosing that has perished only two short pieces, they told me one small piece is about £19 and would have to order it in. Will gas hose do that feeds my barbecue regulator, or any other suggestions
