Hadn't thought about it being linked to exhaust / cat. May well be. Anyone else any ideas? Now looking at replacing down pipes incl cats. Would straight through be legal / OK for MOT? Any other comments welcomed.

Will a Disco 2 V8i Auto take an adapted silencer (down pipe especially - the rest seems OK but the NS cat is shot)? Any recommndations for reasonable price / reliable second hand? I'm in Belgium - difficult to source easily here thus probably need to ship. Redman
