    squeal only when accerating

    I have a v8 that was doing this, checked all the pulleys and bearings no play. Ended up running it without the serpentine belt on idle only and was quiet, turned out to be the water pump. New water pump and no more squealing on acceleration/revving engine.

    That looks like mine did, once you start digging you generally find more. I am thinking about buying the whole boot floor, company selling them on eBay including the side panels and straps for £200. Keep us updated.

    Thanks for the responses. Welding should not be a problem, I have been practicing on this for the past year. Mud will come soon! Got a few niggles to sort out underneath before I get it too muddy. Free of the diff lock linkage and change the speedo sender/transducer! Then comes mud :-)
