it is a 1998 and has done 106k. it has been pampered and money thrown at it. where can i get the mapping/ecu sorted? cheers Tom

no not all the time. first thing in the morning is bad and then randomly occurs. seems to be gettin worse tho... more consistent... i luv range rovers!!!!!!!

no messages are displayed or come up. no smoke. gears seem to shift fine. new air filter. will check hoses. accelarates fine when moving. problem only from standstill. cheers

plugged into testbook. fuel temp sensor fault. cleared it and car is sweet again..... will replace it next week to make sure it doesnt re occur. what a pain to drive with that fault!!!!!! Ta guys

having a nightmare trying to trace the following problem,,,,, on start up i get really low idle and no pedal response. after 10-20 seconds idle picks up to normal revs and pedal responds. causing pulling out of junctions dangerous the car is not running right at all. changed the maf replaced...

anyone know how to test the throttle position sensor? I am getting low idle problems and eratic idle at times. Some start ups are low idle with no pedal response until the revs pick up after 5-10 seconds or so. Any comments appreciated guys Ta Tom

my 1998 p38 diesel seems to lack in power every now and then. its an auto but on take off feels like the clutch is slipping if you can understand that. any ideas appreciated. Ta Tom

im more confused now!!!! it has returned to really good smooth performance. could I have had blocked jets or something???? Or something in the electronics that was asleep and has woken up!!!!! As for "its a range rover" ive had it 2 years and I know all about it emptying my wallet...

my 1998 dhse has always needed a couple of weeks to pull away from junctions etc. Then suddenly last week it performed like my old v8 pulling away very quick and accelarating really quick. Alas today it is back to normal.... strange but true!!!!! any ideas what happened??? Any comments...
