Thanks I,ll check them more thoroughly but it must be a tiny hole that causes steam to escape as there is never any puddles or damp patches under the car, I even removed the drip tray since I thought the water was collecting there but it was bone dry too but thank you for your advice.

No mud bro.its for road use only,,, I put a bit of autoglym on the bonnet to seal it just now but I,ll need to get a clay bar on it but that will have to be one panel at a time although at the moment I,ll concentrate on fitting the light guards & fixing the worn seat.
