p.s gearbox is the original and was working fine before the crash so assume it must be related. only visible damage the gearbox sufferd was the selctor platform that the gear and diff selectors bolt to was cracked by the bulkhead moving back. could it be ive cocked up putting that back on?

i lifted mine by 2", only did springs and shocks at first then castor corrected everything. i found it made a huge difference to the handling. but as u say different for every vehicle.

water ingress is key to fording deep water!! else u just float away!! :D

do you mean windscreen?? this lot repair panels and body mounts for all Landrovers, including Range Rover Classic, Defender, Series, Discovery are probably your best bet of finding what your after

Depends wot your gonna do with it. ive had a few problems with mine over the last couple of years but it gets offroaded a lot and anything thats broken has been from offroading.

dont hav a pipe at all so took master and slave cylinders to a local hydraulic place and they made me up a pipe, cept it was out of that felixible hydraulic hose and i think thats the reason its now not bleeding. anyone got any opions on tht theory?

Yer saw that but if you search "clutch pipe" some of the searches have pics which show the lil bit of pipe that comes out of the slave and then joins to the lil bit of flexi.

Hi, am trying to get hold of an indicator relay / flasher and the clutch pipe that runs from the master along the bulkhead for a 1989 defender. looked on paddocks, craddocks and l.r.series parts and no joy (i couldnt find them). Anyone got any suggestions?

found a n/a filler pipe which looks like it will fit. fingers crossed!

Hi, ive put a 2.5n/a tub onto a 200tdi galv chassis on a 90 im rebuilding and the fillpipe doesnt seem to come anywher near the fuel tank? is it a different pipe or am i being a retard? :D

H, im having trouble bleeding my clutch. Replaced slave cylinder and the master is less than a year old. However i have replaced the metal pipe that runs along the bulkhead with a length of flexible pipe rated to 225bar. is it possible that this is just absorbing the pressure? surley the...

Really? I was running standard props with that setup and never seemed to have a problem. Got wide angle ones on it now anyway tho.

Dont worry, the ****part springs will sag to normal ride height in no time at all :D
