ok, im coming in at the end of this thread, i found my EGE gunked up when i replaced my intercooler hoses that had split. I have a bypass kit off ebay - but want to take the manifold off for a clean as its full of black peanut butter! i thought I had all the bolts out but it didnt seem to want...

how tight should the belt be on the alternator, i can move it an inch if i pull on it / can twist it through 90 degrees - i seem to remember the one on my megane was much tighter
