I didn't have any tubing to hand so I just made plates to fit the body mounts that go on the chassis tubes. Check my build thread 😄

Got a bit more done lastnight, managed to get the chassis out from underneath the body. Was a bit tricky, i think i'll invest in some tall axle stands for putting it back together :rolleyes:

Spent a couple of hours lastnight and managed to drop the chassis down which felt like a bit of a milestone :) Hopefully get her removed over the next few days

Did some more tinkering over the weekend. I'm planning on lifting the body and rolling the chassis out from underneath on a dolly, well thats the plan....

I think anything is repairable but when you've got to undo years of bodge jobs it can be a little daunting. I gave up on my chassis as it had many dodgy repairs over the years. The annoying thing was it wasn't until i got into the guts of it i realised how bad it was and thats why i invested...

Hoist is a very good investment, lost count the number of times i've used it. Even if you buy a second hand one you'll loose very little money if you come to sell it again...

What colour have you gone for? :)

Some updated photos of the landy! Also some of the galv chassis getting painted. I t-washed, 2 coats qd zinc phosphate primer and 2 coats manor chassis black paint.
