ford tractor blue;):p Land owners avatar has close to the same color. White roof and mat black bonnet and eyebrows should look good. Good luck

If I'm honest it's no where near as dark as I wanted it but now it's actually on a panel I'm slightly happier about the colour.
I think some black or white will have to be introduced though ;)

if you get a metal CV boot clip or something similar, You'll be able to straighten all the fins in your intercooler :)

Looks a good build!

Cheers :)
Yep it's a job that I really really don't want to do
I want a biggerer one when one comes up at the right money anyway :D

So today brought the arrival of new paint.
Upon opening the tin I thought what the hell have I actually bought
From what the colour chart showed I had expected it to be darker.

Anyway I thought I best give it a try to see what it's like.
With it actually on a panel it's not as bad as I thought and I'm slightly happier although not 100% yet.

Next on the agenda was to clean the underside off the rear tub and paint.
Run out of paint so not quite finished yet. But will get some more tomorrow and hopefully start prepping for paint.

I quite like that blue, would look smart with a black grill /roof

Yeah I think so to. The original plan was all the same colour but I'm thinking it's going to be to much.

nice colour mate, once its all together it'll be looking smart!! can't wait for tomorrows update!

Still not sure myself mate it has grown on me a fair bit though.
Hope to get the rear tub painted in the next few days so should be able to tell better then.

Evening followers :D

Not a lot to report today.

And then this was one of those jobs that I wish I had never started.
Trying to remove the stickers took forever.

Chequer plate was siliconed on, Tried removing it with a knife blade but it's taking forever. Any one got any other bright idea's? Or just stick with it.

So basically I've got it de-stickered chequer plate and lights of.
Plus started prepping one side. Only took about 5 hours

What you spray the bulkhead with?

Do you have a spray gun with compressor?

I have a long 8 bar ingersolrand compressor so i always wondered if that would be up for the job or not.

Bar means nothing. CFM rating at 90 psi, and a water trap and filter is needed

Yep using a compressor and gun. Only got a 100litre one hence painting it in bits. On the lookout for a biggerer one though :D

Arron use a propane torch and be gentle with the heat. It will soften the silicon

Ah good thinking will give it a go tomorrow :)

looking good, what are you spraying your brackets with etc. Looks very glossy

This stuff applied with a brush which I find easier than having to hang everything up if you were spraying.

Heard good things about rustoleum. Is that the stuff you dont need to apply primer?
