What material are the seals made from? What about getting them plated again? Good work on the tub!

Went to move the landy on Sunday and it just didn't sound right :( Whipped off the intake hose and could see the turbo had gone. After much swearing in the pishing rain I got the manifold off and inside. Snapped one stud and two bolts Grrr! Got a new cartridge on order and gaskets. Here's a pic...

I have seen some people just bond them on with only a few rivets. Silkaflex or tiger seal is pretty strong stuff!

I think I'll end up going the same route with the drilling them out and riveting/ silkaflex.
