Lucky you. Mine makes grindy gear noises when I press the switch so I know at least one thing that is wrong with it. I have been thinking about ordering a parts kit for 2 1/2 years and one day I will actually get around to it-Maybe.

My V6 auto was running terribly with abrupt hard shifts and no power. I was all set to buy a solenoid replacement kit but it turned out that my Power VIS motor was jammed open. I bought a pair of uprated motors and a tester from Byron Rowson and now the Hippo is running smoothly again...

Good point about the pipes Hippo. Definitely worth checking. On my FL1 one of the power steering hoses has partially collapsed. I'm sure this limits fluid flow and likely increases the effort needed to steer but it will have to reach the Armstrong point to make me splash for an expensive new...

It's an awful thing to get at on a NA spec V6 as there is a catalytic converter right in front of it.:mad: I didn't try going in through the wheel arch-Next time! FWIW: the diff filler isn't much better!

Bummer! But are they acceptable in the EU? Or, ahem, would they be picked up during testing? They would certainly be closer to EU spec than RHD headlights.
