    Jubilee clip needed

I am currently in a hotel just off J2 of M42 with a Rangie P38 diesel that is spweing water out of a pipe at rear of engine. The original clamp has crushed the pipe beyond which it cannot make a water tight seal. Is anyone nearby got a jubilee clip around 25mm tightened please, hopefully...

It was too good to be true

Had early brekkie at hotel and took the inlet manifold off. The pipe where the clamp is on has been crushed narrower over time so the clamp is not making it watertight anymore. If there is anyone near J2 of M42 that has a worm O clamp around 25mm tightened I would be grateful, at least it...

It was too good to be true

Just managed to have a look after topping up with water. I can see it dripping out where that rear pipe joins the rear nearside of engine just does not appear to be able to get to it without removing the inlet manifold. May get trailered home on Thursday and sort it out there. .

Just had a good run down from North East to Birmingham, car going well until just pulling into hotel car park and notice the temp gauge stating to climb. Parked up and there...

    Head Gaskets?

Just had a look at a couple of suppliers and they both say the STC2030 has been superceded by the STC2031 and is no longer available, so it looks like the STC2031 is the correct one.

What should you have in your toolkit?

^^^:eek: ...... and what happens if you need any space to carry lugguage or passengers? ;) ....anyway, I don't think you need anything in a toolkit ..... all you need is for your butler to follow you everywhere in your spare Range Rover and if anything happens to the one you are driving...

    1996 P38 2.5dse auto gearbox problems

Setting the windows is as simple as putting each in turn all the way down and holding a couple of secs then all the way up and holding for a few secs until that window says "window set" (ie, one window at a time)

New rules for driving in spain

Speedos are not allowed to read less than actual speed but can read up to 10% more than actual, so you will never be travelling at more than the indicated speed on your speedo. The only speedo that has been very close to being accurate was the RS calibrated one on on the ST1100 I had.

Really clever modification of the week.

If there is an award for this, I think it should go to the member who decided to modify his fuel tank last weekend and replace it in a position less likely to be affected by the affects of salt off the roads and corrosion. I have seen the photographic evidence of this "modification" on...
