    Thanks, having searched some more ot would seem that the vacuum pumps are prone to failure and leaking oil. Looks like the solution is to use two gaskets when replacing. Can anyone recommended a manufacturer? Lr direct stock wabco, britpart, allmakes and bearmach.

    thanks for the help guys. ive got another problem now though! i cannot get the engine to mount back up the the gearbox, i can get it about 1/2" away but if i push it more the engine locks up (gearbox is in neutral). any tips on how to get it flush?
