Been using Camskill for years for other car parts and tyres and they have always been reliable.

I agree with RichM they are more hassle than they are worth. I had the same as you and the brackets rusted on mine and I'm glad they broke on my drive rather when was driving. Without them access is easier and to be honest I prefer the look without them.

They are only held on with 4 bolts 2 on the chassis rails and 2 on the inside of the sills

No as I didn't read all the threads until after I had done the test so didn't realise what feedback was needed but I would say my results would be very close to Hippos at least within a few seconds, my FL has 71k but I have no idea if the VCU is original or not.

I did the above test today with a bar and 8kg weight and the wheel turned nice and steady, I carried out this test as when I tried the tippex test and took the FL for a drive for about 4 miles the marks were still lined up which got me a little bit concerned.

Cheers guys, noise doesn't bother me I can turn the stereo up, I would rather have decent grip first. It won't be short time either as I only do a few hundred miles a month so they will last for ages.

At present i have 2 Dunlop M+S on the back both with decent tread on them, however on the front I have some Kuhmo tyres which arn't marked what they are. I would like to fit at some point AT all round but for the time being is there any reason why I couldn't have a mix of M+S on the front and AT...
