Ok, went to my local Motor factors today to get some new windscreen wipers fitted to the front of the Disco 2 (02 TD5 ES model) and they told me I can only get them from Land Rover as they are specialist ones. Is he bull****ting me or is it true? I always thought a wiper was a wiper just...

I've taken to parking mine on the drive right up against the garage wall overnight so no one can get to them easily. No point putting it in the garage as it has no roof or doors lol.

Been meaning to do this myself but want it done in the cream colour to match my seats etc. Still can't find them the right colour so may have to do it in it's original black.

You haven't had it replaced recently have you? I had mine done on my Connect van and the dickheads put a regular windscreen in there (should have noticed the wavys lines were missing in there). Didn't twig until winter and then had to pay for it to be done again.

It's a 2002 TD5 ES. It's had the coil/spring conversion so do I just assume it's a faulty sensor that needs jimmying or something? Thanks lads.
