Evening All, Is it possible for just the bass signal in the door amps to be knackered? I cant get any output from the drivers side front and rear and passenger side front bass speakers but I can from the passenger side rear bass speaker. Its the Harman Kardon system, can anybody help me out...

Bit of an update, all done with no real issues. Followed Stuckagainsteves link which was brilliant. Just raised the suspension, didn't have to take any of the wheels off. Only took a couple of hours to do all 4 shocks. Replaced the old original shocks with a set of Boge units and so far so...

The guy that had my P38 before me swapped the external black door handles for chrome ones. I'm not a big lover of chrome and would like to try and pick up a set of the original handles and swap them back. Is there potentially and issue with the drivers door handle and the BECM? Dave

I had the same problem with mine this morning. I ended up knocking a screwdriver up the side of it to wedge it in place. As you say, there's always one bolt that gives you a head ache. Dave

P38 Diesel. How do you get the water pump back in? I cannot get it to go past the seal. Rave is a little vague it just says fit the pump and tighten the bolts the 10nm. What is doesn't say is whether you use the bolt to help get the pump to marry up and get the seal in? Can somebody offer...

Sorry to gate crash this thread but I wondered how to bleed the system? I take it then that the little hose that comes out of the top left hand side of the radiator is a return? To bleed the system just leave the little hose off?? thanks, Dave

Yes it did include parts, two new pipes, new cooler, new gearbox filter and oil. It didn't help matters that they had to take the box out because one of the unions snapped off on top of the box. I think the real lump in the throat came when they pointed out the front and rear discs and pads...

The job to replace my gearbox oil cooler pipes cost me the best part of £1000. After that little escaped I'm going to attempt to replace all 4 shocks (Boge) water pump and thermostat myself just to try and claw back some of the funds I had allocated for other jobs. Dave.
