A box with new Maf and switch is £245 i have been quoted £295 for s remap what would you recommend?

If this one is knackered will it cause a sucking sound?

Im thinking hoses because i get a ssound like from a solenoid or something to do with air when under load

Ok thanks for your help. Mine is a 2003 2.0Td4. The one i seen was a synergy 2a. There are brand new ones with switch and maf for £250. I was considering remap but thought this would be a cheaper and better option. It mainly for towing

Would i need to change anything else ie fuel pump? Not sure what maf sensor is on but i would say Bosch. Ive seen one on ebay for £50 at moment but dont wanna bugger the car up

Hiya 1st time towing with freelander i noticed it didn't like hills to much. At around 40 to 50 there sounds like a vacuum noise. I have change the 2 hoses on the right by the egr bypass. Is the rear one easy enough to change as i have this ready its the one that tapers. Whrn van is off it does...

Hiya just read your post. It it a braided vacuum pipe that runs from the turbo solenoid across the back of engine to a part on the right hand side of engine. Mine sounds like a vacuum when under load and looses power when towing uphill

When pressing pedal down does the bleed nipple need to be tightened back up before re pressing

When i connect the electrics from van my light doesn't come on but all indicators and brakes work fine. Is this normal because i haven't seen the light at all
