Hi, Silly question but if you have a capstan winch that's driven from the G'box can you also have a overdrive or do they both need to connect at the same place on the G'box What's the aprox cost of a capstan winch for a ser 3 these days? thanks Andy

Hi, After changing a couple of wheel cylinders and re greasing everything I found that one adjuster wouldn't adjust the shoes enough to lock up the drum so I'm guessing (and hoping) its time for new shoes all round. I'm going to double check that its not an 11" drum on the back (1970's swb)...

i think there is a check you can do on the .gov website where you go to get your road tax... it will tell you if its currently taxed or not. I think they offer a service (at a price) where they will contact the current owner as well... hope that helps Andy

Just wondering why the clutch master to slave cylinder pipe is made up of 3 bits? I just brought the last section only to find the flexi hose needs replacing... Could I just get a Goodridge hose made to replace all 3 pipe sections? Thanks Andy
