If I drain it again. It won't unblock the blockage (if there is one) so I'll probably only get out what I pit in (about 4 litres) and then only be able to put 4 litres back in. Won't I?

Hi all. I've been servicing my 2004 Freelander td4. Filters, oils etc. and I decided that I would flush the radiator and replace the coolant seeing as I've no record of it ever being done. Now, my problem is when I took off the bottom hose I got loads out of it. When it had done draining...

Well, thanks for all the response. I nipped to halfs after the f1 and picked up some of the prevoously mentioned Castrol and an oil can with a flexi hose. The plug was a bit of a bitch to get off (as other people have mentioned) but it finally went with very little damage. Right tools etc...

Hi tacr2man Thanks for the reply. I went on the castrol website and put my reg number in and it recommended CASTROL UNIVERSAL 75W-90 high is part synthetic. I'm getting confused...
