I also made the mistake of fitting cheepies last year, lasted all of a couple of months before one one went & took the fuse out with it, that was fun at 4am on a Monday morning. Got a set of Bosch plugs, fires up first turn of the key & no problems since.

Depending on what modules it has included, that Nanocom looks cheap.

I take it you already have a Key 1, if so & you are sure your Key 2 is unrepairable then just get another Key 2 to replace the one thats fooked. No idea about the Memory seats, but it's no biggy to re-set them again. HTH.;)

You wont go wrong with a Waeco. I've had mine two years now, gets thrown in & out of me waggon every week never had a problem with it.

Mmmm, I've got 6 pin mirrors on mine & have also fitted memory seats. They do dip but the buggers wont go back to the normal driving position, I can't be arsed re-wiring them so I've just turned this function off.

I've got to go with Wammers on this, having heard all the horror stories maybe Britpart aint all that bad. Had to do the same as yourself and replace cooler & pipes, sourced from the Bay & when they turned up all Britpart, me heart sank to say the least, but it's all been on for two months now...

Your right, you don't have to remove the seat, but access is far better if you do. Having done this job myself I'd rather do it with the seat removed for better access, after all, it's only four trim fixings, four Torx bolts & unclip the electrics to gain access, not as bad as it sounds really...

Didn't think you could access the ECU without removing the seat, there aint a lot of room to fiddle about, personally I'd remove it. If it is the ECU Mozz try & get the uprated one (AMR6459) they can be had for around £20 off the Bay.
