While she's in getting her new bulkhead fitted I decided to get a full respray at the same time with new wings and doors all round. First stage is the strip and prep.

I finally got my new bulkhead from Ashtree after a 12 week wait. Got it sprayed black and it's in the process of being fitted. My friendly local mechanic is doing the work for me due to lack of space and ****ty weather to do it outdoors in Scotland. I'll try to keep the pics to under 100 :D

Well I managed to secure a genuine defender 200tdi which will make fitting it a lot easier. I've just got 1 question. Do I still need to drill and tap new bolt holes on the flywheel housing to get it to mate to my LT77 or is it just a straight for now :D

Yeah, I got a 2.5na at the moment. I had a look around for any old discos around my area but no luck.

as per title, I'm looking for a 200tdi engine preferably with the auxiliaries, I'm up in SW Scotland so looking for delivery if your far away.

Do you still have the disco 200tdi emgine?

I'm looking to replace my 2.5na with a 200tdi but the biggest problem is the ones that are on eBay I haven't seen running. I am intending to rebuild the engine, new rings, Pistons bearing, shells ect. Is it safe enough to buy an unseen lump off the bay?

Does anybody have any recommendations for a cover for my 90. There's a fair few on eBay but I want one that's not going to just rip and actually protect my truck :)

I got a full set of doors for my defender I went for series 3 doors with Anti Burst locks. I was just going to use some standard bolts to attach the door handle, is this ok or is there some kind of special bolt and or nut plate. Having a hard time finding out.

I've got new repair panels to weld in, well somebody else to weld in for me :) I got new corners, footwell some new door pillars, do I paint the back of the corners before they get welded in or just spray some wax oil in after they are welded in. Chris

I suspect she will ok be tho, the body work is shocking but the chassis is solid and mechanically she's fine. Here's hoping :)

My baby is in for an MOT atm, I can see the guy with his hands all over her, I've never felt so Nervous lol
