    Steel chequer plate?

When I was thinking about how to cut it I found this vid of a handy device for a grinder. Straight Cutting Metal With Abrasive Discs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTlzcDJqcWU can be picked up on eBay

    Steel chequer plate?

On the inside of the bend I'm assuming? It's looking like it's just too much hassle. Prob better of buying a sheet of aluminum chequer plating instead.

    Steel chequer plate?

Will I be able to bend it without a table for bending? Was gona use it in the footwell to cover the the floor up to the bulkhead. So just the one angle.

    Steel chequer plate?

Hi found someone local selling sheets of 3mm steel chequer plating quite cheap and I will eventually need some to patch up my 110 and to protect the wing tops etc. Most chequer plating on offer for defenders seems to be aluminum. Will steel be better or no difference ? I know that steel will...

    2.5TD to 2.5n/a??

Oh I thought that's what huddy was getting at. If I had the funds I would probably go and put a Isuzu trooper engine in. They are more common over here than disco's

    2.5TD to 2.5n/a??

Yes and if I put a na into the landy I can use the power steering from the current engine and use it for spares too.

    2.5TD to 2.5n/a??

Yea i know it's the same engine but without a turbo. But mine is the 19j and has 212k on the clock. Taking the turbo off would be pointless now. I was thinking of finding a good n/a and putting it in. They seem to be bullet proof. Slow and steady..

    2.5TD to 2.5n/a??

Currently have a 19j in my 89 110 and actually considering putting a 2.5n/a into it instead of the usual 200/300tdi/ isuzu or fourtrak conversions. It has 212k miles on it and although its seems to be going fine at the minute I'm afraid that it could give up the ghost and i want to have a...

    Bulkhead rust repair!

Not sure what it is but seen the stuff before. What causes it to rust in that particular spot?

    Bulkhead rust repair!

I was intending on using a foam like what's used in wall cavities etc. It wouldn't absorb moisture. But quite possibly it would be flammable..

    Bulkhead rust repair!

Was thinking of using some sort of expanding foam on both sides to fill the void and stop the water getting in.

    Bulkhead rust repair!

Hi folks, My 110 has a hole in the bulkhead on either side from rust and I won't be changing the bulkhead but will use those weld in sections later, so what would be the best way to tidy it up and stop it from getting worse for the moment. Was thinking of some sort of rust killer paint and...

    The Hole in my pocket!

I think that's the problem and that's why there was a small pool of oil after driving cos it was collecting in the air filter. Have ordered all new filters including an air filter and gona get a catch tank now too.

    The Hole in my pocket!

Here is a quick pic of underneath were the oil is coming from. Bought engine degreaser so will get it cleaned up on monday and will know better then. but for now it isnt leaking anywhere else. i still reckon its to do with 19j's breathing their own oil and this one was collecting it in the air...

    The Hole in my pocket!

The forbidden "J" word you mentioned was not in the add actually. Will have to have a root around to see what the source of the oil leak is from. Yes I'm in Ireland, and I will be either locking it up in the garage or blocking it in, for the moment anyways. Yea its pretty rust free, the doors...
