That's my fear do you think the manifold has been warped and it's a way the last owner tried a fast fix . Well was all set to start got everything ready to remove the studs then bang . Yep first one snapped off . So putting it into the garage . Just my luck . Still love it thought . Lol ...

Hi guys I'm just about to change exhaust manifold to block gaskets and found passenger side has three fitted on each section and driver side has two fitted on each pin . Hi just stuck some wynns hydraulic lifter in 10 miles later noise gone now put some decent oil in many thanks for the pointers . Really forgot how good the v8 sounds . That's me back in love again with it . Lol . Bob

Hi bought disco I have been going to change battery and just incase checked that had radio code and eka code ready just incase . Yep realised there was no codes in book for radio or eka . Called LR who advised me my radio code no probs bit gave me eka code 88CD. Wtf can anyone help .

Hi I've a 2000 disco v8 with lpg I've started to get tapping noise on acceleration only from os rear of engine I'm just about to change offside manifold gaskets to see if this helps .but I've also seen several postings about lifters being gunked up and running with semi synthetic Diesel oil...

Hi just been returned home by aa yet again due to rear dropping to bump stops on my way up Scotland .. Bit the bullet payed 250 pounds to get rear converted to springs .. Best move ever really cannot tell the difference in handling and now have one less worry
