Which model RR The question is why did it require the EKA code in the first place. Do you have the latest RF receiver installed? Are you sure your key remote is actually working?

You should normally press one of the buttons on the remote and then within 30secs insert the mechanical key in the door lock and turn it to resync the fob.You appear to be doing it backwards.:cool:

It is not a good idea to jumpstart the RR as you have done as they are very sensitive to battery voltage fluctuations.It is best to remove your battery and recharge it or replace it with a fully charged battery before attempting to start the RR.

Could also be a defective height sensor or connection.
