Aye, I get that mine is sideways and down (nautilus type horn) in original position behind the front grille by top of intercooler. Still getting drenched.

I must be on my third flipping horn now in about a year. Pucker replacement jobbies but already latest one sounds like a fart in a tea cup. I think I keep drowning them.:o I just bought a new "Aruugah" type horn but its too big to fit behind the grill. Looking for some advice I...

Brakes - A story of DOH!

Well, long story short, brake pedal slowly sinking to floor. loosing loads of fluid. Couldn't spot leak. that'll be the master cylinder seals gone me thinks. Off to the garage with you (daily driver, cant risk stripping it in the street and finding I need parts I cant now drive to collect)...

    Help! She's shot her load!

Well, to finish the story (i wish more peple would share how their tales ended) anyway, booked her into the garage for about a week later. Groaning noises got progresively worse then complete pwer steering failure and no more noise! (can you guess what it is yet). I had to keep driving (yes...

Diff lock light switch: how far in?

Hmmmm, I'm cautious because I had problem for months engaging difflock, and it was cause the switch was too far in/botton thingumy sticking. Worth a try I guess. But I have a sneaky feeling the switch could still be too far it. Only one way to see :)

Diff lock light switch: how far in?

Dont screw it all the way in, you will foul the mechanism. Engage diff lock, screw it in till light comes on, check light goes off when you take it out of lock. If all good tighten locknut on switch and Bob's your auntie.

    What are the chances?

Spend £3.5k and keep £500 back for the initial failures. £500 will buy you a reasonable amount of fixes, even a couple of garage ones:)

    Help! She's shot her load!

Well, for those not died of boredome; Nipped in to my local indi and he kindly topped up the reservoir and bled out the box. Deffo looks like air is getting in from somewhere as the odd bubble surfaced and the fluid appeaded to be pulsing up and down a wee bit. I guess it could be a small...

    Help! She's shot her load!

Well, best I can tell is I came out of a vent hole in the screw cap? Also, fluid is pink and full of bubbles. Hmmm, an air leak somewhere?

    Help! She's shot her load!

The old girl just spewed half the power steering fluid over the engine bay. Only looked under bonnet because the steering started groaning. Normal road driving, not a long drive, about 20 miles.:( What do you think caused this?

    I'll name that noise in.....

Well, in case anyon is interested, turned out the rear diff was completely shot. The gear teath had chunks missing and best of all the pin was in four peices sitting in the bottom of the diff housing. Sorry no pics:o I'm amazed it was still turning. Needless to say, situation much...
