i recently changed my radius arm bushes and it feels all tight again definatley got to much play in those bushes there shouldn't be any movement in them by hand they will fail mot

where i take my 300tdi disco for mot the guy is a landy nut so when i asked him about decatting he said it is mot fail as any car that leaves the factory with a cat has to have a cat on for the mot :doh:

does anyone know how to lock the wheel on the aircon compressor so i can remove the front cover as the belt slipped off and snapped the cable going into the case behind the wheel. thanks for any info given

k&n are free flow filters they are abit expensive but you wont need to buy another for that landy just the solution and wash it once in a while

i have repatriated disco had it a couple of years they are usually in better condition dont take much notice of service book unless it can be verified but i would buy an import as they are good value there aint alot of difference between uk and jap discos

mapils sells it as paint or as a pencil it is a conductive paint

it should only turn over when in PARK i would check that the fuel is reaching the injectors and work back from there before i do anything else as i had a fuel lift pump problem before. get someone to turn the engine over and loosen off injectors at engine then tighten back up if the fuel is present.

not sure but anything that has been used over seas i wouldn't buy unless there was an mot with it.

i have a reimport 300tdi and i would buy them again as they are low miles and usually rust free.i wouldn't take much notice of the service history as it could be a sushi take away menu for all i know just make sure it has a mot or it may need some conversions done like speedo and headlights and...

also check breather hose havent come off its by the pipes from the matrix to bulkhead but sounds like a leak as i had steam from dash and found hole in bottom of matrix the coolant may be getting soaked up in the sound proofing as it is quite thick and there is a drainage hole under sound...

i would also check vacume hoses first.play around with the button on the steering wheel and listen for a click from the relay under the glove box

i had a similar knock when i turned steering wheel when out and about the only thing that was found on my next mot was front radius arms were loose i ended up changing all bushes and nuts also panard rod bushes failed mot which were changed 12 months before so will not use bearmachs bushes...
