Do you have an Auto? Is this bit of the LCD the bit where it normally says what gear your Auto is in? D, N, P, etc.

    Loch Lomond Area

Hello all, Anyone know of any good places to go off-roading (either 'legal' tracks or even a pay-and-play site) within an hour or so of Loch Lomond? Not having much luck searching, the only thing I have found reference to (and of seemingly positive legality) is the route from Brig...

    disco 2 v8 year 2000 air springs

Can't answer specifically about coil conversions, other than some people will tell you that you need them for your 7-seater (if you have 7 seats) to remain type-approved. Also you apparently will need a diagnostics session to deactivate the air suspension electronically on the ECU. It's...

    Chime on start up...

Only time mine does it when the engine running is when the suspension drops if you've had it in extended mode (once you hit ~18MPH), or if you try to put it in HDC mode when the car isn't in Low Range.

By 'oggy shore' do you mean this area? Is it just routes on the 'beach'? Cheers :)

TD5 Air Suspension Strange goings on !!

Mine deflates with certainty over a few hours if I'm bouncing around packing the car, or on the roof, etc. I think this is tied to the problem on mine as I see it: I posted a long description of my air bag problems some time ago, I'll dig it out. Basically, after studying the schematics for a...

    Harmon Kardon System swap

Excellent info thanks - I want to swop my Harmon Kardon head unit for a fold-out screen head.. I take it there's a reasonably standard connector block on the back then? So it should be possible to get a converter to for whatever stereo you use as a replacement? Do you think the slot of the...

Fitting Spot Lights Directly to Bumper

Very true, I had to do this for the lights on my expo roof rack - they jiggled about all over the place. For these spots, they rest against the grill and don't vibrate at all! Perfect :)

    auto box

Also remember it won't go into top gear (or rather top gear and torque converter locked down) until you hit 53mph too. (looks more like 56 on the speedo). Annoying in 50mph limit zones. James

    auto box

Hi It won't go into 'top' gear (the most relaxed sounding one) until the car is warmed up. When my temp guage hits 50% it goes up a gear (well, technically the torque converter lock-down kicks in) straight away. Have been some other threads about this will try and find a link for you. James

Fitting Spot Lights Directly to Bumper

Right - Gone and done it! All fitted and working correctly. Took all day though! Getting the bumper off was surprisingly easy, just take off the front wheel arch linings, two main bolts either side of the reg plate area, and one rubber mounting bolt each end of the bumper at the very end...

    What cheap tyres ?

Colways all the way. Brilliant, even the ATs are quieter on the road than my old road-biased goodyears were, great looks, great grip and ridiculously cheap.

Fitting Spot Lights Directly to Bumper

BurtonBuy - This is ace, thanks. I'll try and dig out my RAVE CD if I can find it! Like you say, as long as I fit the spots in the same place as I would fit a light bar then I should be okay. Hopefully there will be enough room for the botls to drop down without fouling the chassis ends you...

Fitting Spot Lights Directly to Bumper

Hiya, Wiring's not a problem. My roof lights are on a separate switch for legality. Spots coming on with main beam only is fine, as long as the lights are approved etc. Have bought the spots, just awaiting delivery. Got some 9" beasts in the end! Photoshopped them onto the front of the car...

Fitting Spot Lights Directly to Bumper

    sunlight sensor

...And can also adjust the left/right climate control balance on top of your manual settings. I.e. If it's sunny on the passenger side but in shadow on the drivers side, it can make the passenger side cooler even though you may have the same temp set for both sides.
