    P38A Just bought a new (to me) Rangie!

    Buy 5/6 spare key fob battery packs as they go every 3 months . Leave the drivers door open when changing them then stick the key back in the ignition, otherwise your engine will immobilise! If that happens you will need a black box solution to get it going again.

    Hi Chaps Is their anyway to get important threads from the forum sent to your emails as they post. At the moment unless you log on regularity, it doesn't seem that you will see them when needed. Based in Sutton Surrey and would be happy to help anyone local if they needed help etc.

    Key Fob

    I'd leave the drivers door open, re closing the key fob at the back was always tricky, if you put it back in the ignition it tends to sync back up no issues. Mine rune out quite often so I carry quite a few spares.

    Hi chaps, bit of advice please? Over the last few weeks I get a gearbox overheat fault showing when I start up the car and its cold ( can't be overheating?). Just stops and no problems, do I need to change a sensor in the gearbox?

    Buy a kicker from black box solutions, when my fob battery died and after checking the forums I found i needed to Sync the the car to cancel out the engine immobiliser code.
