Hi chaps, bit of advice please? Over the last few weeks I get a gearbox overheat fault showing when I start up the car and its cold ( can't be overheating?). Just stops and no problems, do I need to change a sensor in the gearbox?

Ahh
Sorry p38a 4.0l petrol 2000
Cooler is in front of the RAD on the V8 I think, I don't know the petrol but I would assume that the sensor will be on the cooler as it is on the diesel. download RAVE from the link in Wammers EAS guide in the "How To" section.

Gearbox cooler sensor on the V8 is on the end of the oil cooler attached by two screws. Possibly just a bad contact but if not, part number is. ESR4329
