    Yeah tried that it's still just a bit too tight and is pro ably what killed my first motor, also the inside is a velvet and that just dries out really quick, plus the external is not making a perfect Sealand is very cracked..

    new motor a reg fitted £30 delivered goes up and down fine now but the rubbers are old and tired and slowing it down a lot.. anyone know where I can get some universal ones I'm not paying retail it's silly money I must be albe to get something that will work somewhere both internal and external?

    Just behind the handbrake under the Cover/cubby box you could try adjusting the nut up. I have a problem where I think my automatic adjusters slip back at times as the pedal goes soft and the hb is hopeless, try working the hb and see if it takes the slack or shoes could simply just need taking up

    as title says, I've replaced mine as the motor was bad ( altho I did clean it up inside and got it working but won't commit to that might be sketchy) but the cables and regulator are all good - to swap the motor out its the (presume original) x4 bolt on one not the x2 screw on one.. offers...

    also make sure you use the correct holes as there are a number of them in the sil and not all line up correct with the step itself if found that when I did mine..

    if you feel the undersides (inner vertical part of the chassis) the holes are taped over and maybe undersealed over also as mine were, U'll fell it a bit softer than the rest and just pushes through with a screwdriver etc..
