    rear door lock on 90

Cheers for the answers guys, but using key is not an option as I dont have one. (As I said in question) So it looks like ive got to destroy the old barrel by drilling out enscrution and levers or replace whole unit.

    rear door lock on 90

Ive just converted my 90 truck cab to hard top and dont have a key for the rear door lock. After taking the lock mechanism off I was hoping to swop the barrel over for a new one with keys, But on inspection it looks like a factory sealed unit so no easy access to the barrel. . Is there a way of...

I was wondering if was possible to change the pedal bar from a early defender. The servo I am using at present (and just packed up) was...

Cheers Though I forgot to mention I also have a fairy capstan on the front as well ,which also adds extra weight and fulcrum due to steering box throwing the winch mount forward by extra inches.

    Spring suggestions please

I have recently put my 2A 109 onto a 1986 rangy chassis (to cure my palpitatations from bad drum brake near misses) The rangy was a V8 and my 2A is running a N/A 2.5 D . I have a problem on the front spring travel due to the excess wieght of the 2.5 lump compared to the V8 unit. Though I have...

    Looking for a 11A Bulkhead

Hi I am trying to find a reasonable condition 6 pot bulkhead for my 1969 109 V8, I see Craddocks where advertising a 4 pot standard 1 for £720 or so . Has anybody got any idea where I could get a big tunell one and approx how much I could expect to pay ? Cheers .

    LT77 transfer box dismantling

I have checkrd that it isnt hitting the plate. I am using the box in a trailer so i have good ? access to the linkages. The grub screw was loose initially but after tightening it ,it only improved things slighly. I think the problem may lie within, as an animal of a mate borrowed it recently and...

    LT77 transfer box dismantling

I am intending to "go inside" my LT77 transfer box as I am having difficulty in selecting high box (I have checked linkage play and there is no fouling) The gear keeps spitting out under load and on overrun. Low box is fine. Box noise is not evident . The only thing I can think of is a bent...

    series seats - what fits?

I meant to add fix the seats to a square of 1" ply that fits snugley in to the seat support frames. I trimed off the pivot lugs. Them simply lift the whole lot off or move it the middle when you need to get under it. As for bus seats I used to drive em and dont reccomend a jockey seat (where the...

    series seats - what fits?

I know a few lads use Volvo seats that fit quite easily. From what I can remember most early 1980's Saloon/estate are popular plus most scrappy's will be pleased to see the back of them , nice and cheap.
