The problem occurs when changing from 1st to 2nd... No it does not solve the problem when I stick the gear manually from 1 to 2...

Nope have not checked the level recently and forgot if the mechanic changed the filter when he changed the oil last year... Someone mentioned that it could be the gearbox speed sensor... could it?

Yes oil changed last year... XYZ switch as well...

Hi, Been having problem with my auto box... It seems to change just fine in the morning but sometimes during the day it would not change until I get the rev up to 3000+... Any idea what may be wrong? Thanks

hi, Thanks for the feedback... Will get the injectors cleaned and see if there's any improvement... Did notice that the engine is very slow to built up rev when stopped on a steep slope... it will eventually get to 1500rpm then stop there for a while before getting more rev and moving the...

no warning light on the dash actually... I think the workshop forgot to swap the sensor over... hope they didn't throw it with the old filter...

Replaced the faulty MAF and air flow reading is now in the high 50s during idle and coolant at 80+ and the car is now much better to drive... most of the time... sometimes it still decides to only change gear at close to 3000rpm and the gear change can be a bit rough...

Life is so unfair... I had to pay RM70,000 (£12,700) for my yr2000 TD5 and a TDV6 when new is over RM300,000 (£54,500)...

Yes they were touching a bit but no real damage. have moved them out of harms way...

Had it tested with a borrowed MAF just now and the air flow now reads 35+ (idle) and 180+ (under load)... seems a bit low now compared to your idle reading... The manifold pressure was around 220+ so I must have miss read the reading last time...
