does anyone know what the small pipe from the right hand side of the fuel tank do. I snaped my one off when removing the tank, Can i glue it back on or is a new tank,:confused:

thanks so not a defect with the nanocom. would have been nice to see each wheel sensor input at speed as it would have pointed to a failing speed sensor

great so i can remove it. does any one know were the intake pipe comes from. it goes to each rear wing then up behind it

mines a 2000 reg and realy needs all the bushes changing. there hot hard to do if you know some one with a press. think how old these bushes are with the weight of car on it

cheers. the reason i wanted to know is my disco has been converted to springs and i wanted to reove the damper now I know i can. as for the compressor i was going to sell it but noticed the exhaust solinoide missing. so i will have to mention this when selling.

does any one know what the black cylinder that the air lines pass through is for. the main intake seems to come from the rear and pass through this cylinder then to the compressor. also do all compressore s have an exhuast vavle as mine has not got one. :confused:

could be any one of your bushes, what age is your disco. Mine has the same clonk and it is coming from the radius arm bushes which i intens changing soon. If it only happens now and again then you probably have some time before they need changing. If they get worse then the MOT man will be...

S***t thats not good may be i will have to wax it after painting.

that’s what my dad does with the old engine oil. Seems to work but the oil slick when driving is a road hazard also not very good when you want to work under the car as you get oil all over ever think. I think wax oil old chassis can cause more trouble as it hold the moisture in the metal...

I think learning to weld is the way to go to save money in the future

mine has a crack the full length from the back axle to the rear box. the hole under side of the chassis has blown and i have a whole where the rear towbar bracked attaches. like you said i will have to remove the fuel tamk to sort it out. Hoping to make a box to go over the area and weld on...
