I noticed a loud consecutive noise like a machine gun or drumfire under the floor about where the Viscous Coupling is. Checked ird & vc and both seems fine. Problem is intermittent and happens only on sharp fast turns. Any thoughts?

It just that i had exactly the same symptoms like many other owners with road biased tyres and the noise just disapeared when i swapped all 4. If its the tyres, the noise should change tone when moving at different type of tarmac with different speeds.

Tyre noise?

Do not use MTF94 in ird unit! Use only a good quality 75W90 synthetic gear-oil. You need 1.2 lt

The temp gauge on petrol freelanders reading only 3 zones: Bottom=Cold - Half=Normal - Red=Too Hot (GameOver) I dont think its so normal for this gauge to stay too long between these 3 areas when engine running.

The middle pic its a small coolant tank with a level sensor for inline installation with the main expansion tank. My supplier hasn't any idea where to connect the above cable. He just get the LR codes for me. Thanks MHM ill be waiting for your help
