hi mate i have the same p38 199 my front propshaft snapped about 1 month ago and i am still using mine as normal alothough this bad snow makes it a very dangearous car , ihave seen loads on ebay for 30 to 50 quid from breakers this would be fine .. as for air locks in your system what i surgest...

having removed my front prop because the uj broke i found it to be exelent on diesel but its not very good fun at all in the snow being only rear wheel drive. ok you can have some fun in the open wast ground but it has about as much grip as an ice skate so in short good on fuel but pants in snow

thanks i took my tank off last week and removed the pump and checked it it was fine the plastic tank had no sediment or sand in it either this is frustrating to thanks for your help though it keeps me in ideas

i have put new injectors in and it still the same i will just have to try and flush it with diesesl again and let it soak over night the last time i had this problem i filled the engine up to the top with diesel and left it to soak and it worked so i might have to try it with this one just dont...

i have the same problem new glow plugs fitted new battery and new leak off pipe new diesel filter and a new 1 way fuel valve and i am still gettin nowere i think its time to get rid its just not worth the hasal anymore

it must be a stickin exhaust valve as it drops a cylinder and smokes like mad and the smoke is pure diesel smell only when i rev it over 3000

i do agree i have used diesal as a oil flush for years and have not had any problems doin it but for some reason i was silly enough to go and buy a flush and a valve treatment i new i should have used diesal will try again thanks

just a word of warning though make sure you only do 1 at a time as to not mix up your injector parts . its not difficult the injectors split quit easy they have a few parts inside but easy to sus out if you get stuck i have some injectors that i keep as spair

i have just changed my injectors on my dse and i ordered them off e bay and they were out of a 525 bmw worked fine ...have you tryed stripping down the injector they arnt hard and you can buy a ultrasonic cleaner machine from mapplins for £30 done mine loads of times just be carefull with the...

it should only be remove the rocker cover and re tighten you should be able to get to the head bolts quite easy
