Just fitted a roverron synergy unit, the all in one, maf and TU3 unit built in one, it certanly made it quicker on just the TU3 part, now ive connected the MAF part, and theres lots of settings, wondered whats best ? mines on 7 with both TU3 and MAF switched on. thanks

sorry to jump on your thread, but i have a 03 plate freelander, with the bmw engine, are they belts or a chain ? and when do they need changing ( if a belt ) thanks.

thanks again for the offer , i ended up buying said tool, rivnut tool, under freelander, fitted nutserts in a about half hour, then steps on, and locktighted the bolts in place, alls well, looks the piece now, thanks again :) now need to sell tool usefull as it is i wont use it again lol...

updated Usercp :) im in Farnham, ok.. so do i try to insert, or do i hammer/insert the rivetnuts into said holes , then when i tighten bolts this will expand them and make it a snug tight fit ? any advice or help appreciated.. cheers

ahhh ****e ! i hoped and thought they would be tap in rivet style nuts and then screw the bolts in ! obviously not buggger .. any advice where to buy the tool ? is it simply a matter of scraping off the paint/slight ammount of metal then hammering the rivet nutus into the holes ? anyone else...

anyone know the size of rivets and bolts needed for the fixing of the side steps on the freelander? i ordered some off flea bay and they havent arrived ! so thought id nip to nut n bolt shop and buy some meself. thanks.

Will a k&n airfilter on a 03 TD4 give much more power/accelaration? is it worth the 40 odd quid they want on flea bay ? anyone had one or got one? thanks :D

Wise words, cool i wont press and hold.. as for the reprog, would love it to open all on one push, not 100 pounds worth of love it though ! shame as BMW you can reprogram the fobs your self ! n'er mind, love the TD4 anyway :)

When I unlock my car with the remote fob one push unlocks drivers door, i have to push twice ( and remember ) to unlock the missis door before she trys it and glares at me for not unlocking her door, also if i push and hold unlock the rear window comes down, but if i push and hold lock it doesnt...

327 For me with churchill, 36, full no claims... maybe its the year or the model of freelander that makes it differ ? TD4 on a 03 plate.. i live in a low crime area of surrey, i thought insurances was cheaper down here ! obviously not :eek: is it still worth taking breakdown cover on a TD4 ...

is this the part you replace to increase power if you think the maf sensor is out of spec ? im unsure how to exactly tell, i pick my freelander td4 up on sunday, i test drove it and it felt fine, power all the way, no lag etc... so wondered if i could buy the tuning unit, or if i should but this...

The side steps on freelands you can get are they differnet sizes on 3 door to 5 door ? ive seen some on flea bay and am tempted, but wanted to check if they are the same size on both. thanks
