Hi, It seems that the freelander 1 TD4 clutch master is useless. Can it be replaced with a more conventional master cylinder that can be bled etc? Has anyone already done this Mod? Cheers Andy

I will try to do a search, thanks. it does look like it will split without taking the ird out too. If that's the case I am leaving the driveshaft in the box too as that also looks like it does not need to be split from the box. Andy

Hi landiies, ok I am having to replace the clutch friction plate on my 2002 TD4. It has the Getrag gearbox. can anyone tell me if the ird has to be taken off as well? or can I just split the g/box and pull it off by lowering the left side? I don't see why this cannot be the case. Andy
