Hi all, I have had what sounds like a creaking noise when I pull away from standstill, it sounds like its coming from the right hand side rear, although it could be front? Any ideas where I should be looking? Only it's annoying me now! Thanks

I had an MG ZR where the steering wheel was rubbing on the cowling and I sprayed some silicon spray under the cowling, would this work in this case do you think?

Hi, Have removed top part of crank case filter and put in bmw part, cant get top part back on due a cable rigjt in front!!! How do I remove this cable upwards just enough for the clearance I need??? Thanks

One other thing I have noticed is the map reading lights do not come on when the buttons are pressed? I took housing off from the headlining, and bulbs seemed ok, ie filament intact, the courtesy light works fine though, although this too does not come on when button pressed but does when doors...

Some great info there guys, not scared me off, just gives me the info needed, they guy selling did not even know what the vcu was when I emailed him!! I do have some ideas as I work at the land rover factory in Solihull, but we don't make the freelanders! :)
