Hi,
Need a bit of advice here, firstly how do I remove the passenger front door card, as the speaker is not working, the tweeter works fine though, secondly, the passenger side rear door child lock is not working right, when selected to unlock, the door will not open from inside, but the outside door handle does? When selected to lock it opens from the inside, but not the outside handle? Is this a common fault? Is it a cheap/easy diy job?

on the rear door it sounds like the internal linkage has been altered, as to removing the door card, remove any screws visible, you may find one or two under little circular plastic grommets, and then the card will need prying off starting at the bottom, one can buy special tool from sealey but most of us make do with a big bladed screwdriver or the like. hope this helps.

you need to remover the handle , a cross head screw one each side then remove the latch that opens the door soround you can see the one screw in the middle , then take the tweeter off . then you have screws around the door pocket one either end then about 3 under it, then it is a case of pulling the door card carefully of the clips.hope this helps, the back door is simular only you do not have the bottom door pocket

sorted it, just didn't look hard enough for the screws on the handle, everything else was easy enough, thanks all

One other thing I have noticed is the map reading lights do not come on when the buttons are pressed? I took housing off from the headlining, and bulbs seemed ok, ie filament intact, the courtesy light works fine though, although this too does not come on when button pressed but does when doors opened etc!? Anyway is this a case of having to replace the unit?

usually just a poor connection in the light unit.
