Doe's a light light up on dash saying ABS when you switch on if it does you've got ABS or you can look under the bonnet follow brake pipes from servo if they go to quite a large box with ABS wrote on it .... but I dont think abs was fitted on 93 200tdi's but Iam not sure.

Hi if your battery light is on constantly when switched off you have a faulty altenator remove it and ask a auto electrician place or retailer that has testing facilities to run a bench test most places will do this free or for a small fee but either way it will be worth the trouble.

Get a Jap import no rust then just check mechanics if it is a recent import chances are it'll be good all round "nobodys going to ship a disco from japan with any serious faults " you'll not believe the difference in condition mine still looks like new underneath.

if your putting 15psi in and its enough to keep the correct height then your pressure gauge is nackered cos 15psi hardly moves mine and that pressure would get ye a fixed penalty...if you got stopped.

Hi I am sure you can get a replacement handle for the alco that is smaller and it comes with an extender that hooks on enable you to push the alco down into place when used on a 4x4.or you could fit an adjustable height tow bar and a 25 mm spacer to give you a little more room to lift.
