cheers for clearing that up. One thing I was noticing is that the 1st gear can be quite hard to find sometimes end up either going in reverse or 3rd is it just a cas of getting the hand of it and this being quite notmal or is this a potential selector problem or something?

So its the same engine just different layout on the above.

well you said that the 2.5td does not have and intercooler. I was thinking I had the 2.5td engine.However My engine has intercooler turbo stamped at the front of the engine on what looks like a large black cover covering the radiatior area.So my point is does this mean I have the 200tdi engine...

mine has turbocharged intercooler stamped on the top of the black cover at the front of the engine so does that mean its not a 2.5td? and is a 200tdi?
