Changing my defender from a cab to a SW, any ideas of what bolts and quantity I need to bolt the sides the the body and the roof to the sides? I believe that there are different bolts for the corners, any advice would be appreciated. Cheers

That's pretty much how I done it, but I'll have another go tomorrow. I sure I done that then it all went pear shape again! :confused:

Being simple, I've put a meter across the 2 wires and theres a voltage going through at around 13.9v (when engine is running) am I right in saying that the earth wire is the wire that the red test lead is on when the meter is reading negative volts? cheers

Hi thanks both. I know Ashtree are refurbs but could not find any new manufactured galved ones. I currently have a 90 with a 300tdi, cab with dislocating cones diff guards blah blah blah!! Both chassis and bulkhead are ok, but I'm thinking of buying a donor vehicle and buying the said parts...

Hi I'm new to Landyzone and most prob I'm doing this all wrong! Basically I'm contemplating buying a new Galv chassis and bulkhead, prob is I cant find any places that sell new galv bulkheads apart from Ashtree. Any advice would be much appreciated. cheers and thanks
