Ive had mine two days and already had to sort leaks from coolant,atf fluid and pas fluid. have disconnected RF reciever aeriel too...... Had an error message saying ABS fault earlier but went off after ten minutes and has stayed that way since thank christ... Not enjoying driving it at...

theres a couple on ebay,160 quid!!! feck that,itll just have to make do with the wire disconnected,it still blips the locks ok..... :-P

Good news!! came home and stripped all the gubbins off the top of engine so i could get in closer and the source of the water leak turns out to be the little metal pipe that goes into the head between water pump and what im guessing is the thermostat housing? is held in by one bolt so im...

would this the same as a diesel auto then? i thought my auto gearbox cooler was just in front of the N/S front wheel? or is that for something else.... sorry for thread hijack,just threw me there reading that for a moment

Ok thanks i will check that,not sure how to tho but im sure i will find out :P can i tell by the fob? or is it somewhere else ive got to look? Not sure what the story is with the coils,i only went for them due to the amount of towing i do plus ive heard so many bad stories about dodgy systems...

Well here she is,drove back faultlessly but have noticed a couple of tiny leaks that will need sorting,namely a slight drip from what i assume is the Auto box rad just in front of N/S front wheel,looks easy enough to replace but i also have a slight coolant leak from the front of the engine...

Lol its a workhorse,so itll be covered in all things,namely oil,mud and spaniels :P

cheers all bit the bullet today and splashed out on a 99 T 2.5 DSE auto with coil spring conversion. pick it up tomorrow,came from a garage in woodstock over oxford way,met green with cream leather. Hope ive done the right thing lol :P
