Are you sure water coming through bottom of window. I had similar problem with early td5, but problem was door seal. water was running from top of the door around rear window seal and pooling at the bottom before running down door .

:) Thanks for that... I have been in touch with Land Rover, they will issue a replacement VIN plate for a fee. Also Series III owners Club will issue a replacement 'replica' vin plate for a smaller fee.

He can take the chassis number from the registration document. But I will then be issued a failure notice as there is no VIN plate. Series III had the chassis number punched into the chassis rail above the offside front spring hanger.

Well according to the garage, He now requires a computer and a modem in the workshop to perform the new MOT test. he has to logon to a central system, enter the chassis number, registration number, Make, model and colour of vehicle.

I have just been informed that my series has failed its MOT because it does not have a vin plate. Does anyone know how I can get a replacement.
