The reasoning behind this is I'm in 2 minds do I either lob a few grand on engine n gearbox n hope the chassis n body don't need much work in the next few years before i spend i get to the point of spending more than its worth or sell it n buy a newer td5 Neil

Just changed gearbox oil. Put ATF in last July when I bought it n changed to mtf95 3 weeks ago done the engine oil as well. Not changed the TB oil but checked n the level is correct. The noise isn't gettin any louder just annoying Coz I know it's there

Try the flexible brake pipes they perish from the inside n make the pipe smaller n make your brakes feel like they are sticking. They stick for a few seconds then release this is due to the inside of the flexible pipes not being able to release the fluid as quick Neil

phone them up and tell them you think it has a dodgy MOT (relaxed as you called it) and tell them you are going to take iti too the vosa testing station you will be suprised how qiuck they react, i am under the impression car sales places cant do there own MOTs so you might find you have to ring...

hello chaps i have a hole on my n/s rear wheel arch the bit you see when you open the door my question is do i have to replace the whole panel as acoording to the manual i have to take the complete rear panel off or can i just cut awaythe rusty bit and replace it as needed thanks

sorted it replaced the flexible hose , used to have this problem with minis the inside of the hose expands so it doesnt release the fluid quick enough simple really when you think about it , the disco is playing with my mind
