Replace with another box. Chances are the box is worn allowing sideways movement of the output shaft letting fuild past the seal. If this is the case a new seal won't make any difference. Trying getting someone to turn the steering wheel a little whilst you look for movement in the shaft. Only...

I had the same problem a while back on my 96 Disco. fault was with the tensioner causing the belt not to run true on the other pulleys.

My window regulator fail, I first welded which was unsucessful - seemed like the weld material and the parent metal was incompatible. Used small csk hd screws and nuts is i remember rightly. Never any more problems. Disco '96 RED
